Blaze ruins historic Delaware furniture store

Milford, DE, United States (4E) – A two-alarm fire has heavily damaged the historic Warren Furniture Store located on South Walnut Street in Milford, Delaware Wednesday night.

According to officials, around 50 firefighters from the Carlisle Fire Company and seven other area fire companies arrived to control the blaze that started around 9 p.m. at the three-story building that housed the family furniture business established in 1928.

There were no reported injuries and the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
