Woman died after Pennsylvania Christmas hit-and-run

Philadelphia, PA, United States (4E) – A 54-year-old hit-and-run victim from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has died on Christmas night and police are now looking for the suspect.

According to authorities, the unidentified woman was walking on the sidewalk about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night on Frankford Avenue near Lippincott Street in Kensington when a black car heading into a parking lot hit her, causing severe head trauma.

The driver, believed to be a woman in her late 30s to 40s, quickly left the scene.

The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital, where she was declared dead at 10:57 p.m.

Police are looking for a black Dodge Charger and urge anyone with information to call authorities.
