Wisconsin apartment fire displaced several residents

Mt. Pleasant, WI, United States (4E) – A blaze that seriously damaged an apartment unit in Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin Tuesday night has displaced several people.

According to reports, the flames that engulfed an apartment building near Green Bay Road and Highway 11 on Christmas night has forced people out of their homes.

The fire started on a second story balcony in the 8 unit building that severely ruined that unit. Other units were slightly damaged.

Firefighters said the fire reached the roof before they managed to control it.

No injuries were reported and the Red Cross has been assisting those who were displaced from their homes.
