Route 153 Closed from Penfield to Route 219 in Clearfield County

DUBOIS – A section of Route 153 in Clearfield County is closed at this hour due to extreme winter weather conditions. The roadway is closed from Route 255 in Penfield to Route 219, north of Brockway. Only local traffic will be able to access their specific location on SR 153.
PennDOT advises motorists to stay off area roadways if travel is not necessary. Route 153 across Boone Mountain is expected to re-open around 6 p.m.
PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
