Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Singer Jessica Simpson, in less than a year after welcoming her first baby, is expecting her second child she announced on Christmas.
After weeks of rumors and speculations, Simpson confirms everything by posting a photo of her seven-month-old baby Maxwell, with fiancé Eric Johnson, with the phrase, ‘Big Sis’ traced on the sand in front of her. The photo is captioned, “Merry Christmas from my family to yours!”
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old singer’s second pregnancy sparked questions regarding her being a Weight Watchers ambassador. She has signed on with the weight loss company to shed off post-pregnancy pounds and has recently appeared in a 30-second video showing her 50-pounds lighter body. What will happen?
“There have been no changes to our business agreement with Jessica. [Her] successful weight loss prior to becoming pregnant will be featured in Weight Watchers’ new ‘Expect Amazing’ advertising campaign, including a spot with her sharing the happy news,” a representative for Weight Watchers told ABC News.
Simpson will retain her post as spokesperson, but, according to the representative, the pop star “will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician, as is recommended for any woman during pregnancy.
After she gives birth, Jessica and her doctor will decide when she may resume following the Weight Watchers program.”
