Louisiana fire kills two young boys

Darrow, LA, United States (4E) – Two young boys died after flames engulfed a mobile home late Sunday night in Darrow, Louisiana.

According to the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal, a trailer caught fire located on Galaxy Boulevard and LA 22 along Ascension Parish before midnight and two boys, ages 4 and 6, died in the blaze that completely destroyed the home.

Their mother and two sisters, ages 10 and 12, were able to escape and were transported to the hospital.

They have been released after receiving treatment for minor burns and are now staying with relatives.

Firefighters revealed there were no working smoke alarms in the residence and the cause of the fire is being investigated, however, foul play is not suspected.
