Tucson, AZ, United States (4E) – Authorities are seeking help in finding the man who assaulted a woman jogger last week along a river walk in Tucson, Arizona.
Pima County Sheriff’s Deputies said the attack occurred Thursday evening while the woman was jogging alone on the river walk between La Cholla and La Canada. She was also wearing earphones.
The suspect came from behind then attempted to drag her into the nearby wash and hit her several times, however, the woman fought him off.
According to officials, the attacker has been described as a medium height male with facial hair and was wearing a dark, bulky winter jacket with a hood.
Deputies have increased patrol along the river walk and in neighboring areas since the incident.
