Police Report: Ridgway PSP

• An incident of DUI occurred at 2:41 a.m. Sunday on state Route 219 at Mountain Laurel Lane in Ridgway Township. A 27-year-old Kersey man was stopped for a traffic violation and found under the influence of alcohol. Charges have been filed through the district court.
• No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 6 p.m. Friday on Route 4003 in Ridgway Township. Jamie L. Dickant, 44, of Ridgway was traveling northbound and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway. She lost control of her vehicle, which exited the roadway via the east berm. There, it struck a tree. Dickant was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
• An incident of burglary occurred at 6:50 p.m. Dec. 11 on Christopher Avenue in Millstone Township. A 25-year-old Marienville woman, Cynthia L. Kahle, was arrested for the burglary and arraigned in district court. Her bail was set at $10,000 straight and she was placed in the Elk County Jail.
