Man Jailed for Fleeing and Eluding State Police

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A 24-year-old Clearfield man, Tyler Kenneth Rowles, was jailed after attempting to flee and elude the Clearfield-based state police at 11:39 a.m. Saturday on River Road in Lawrence Township.
Rowles led state police on an approximately six-mile chase before surrendering on Industrial Park Road. He was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. He was taken into custody.
Rowles was arraigned on charges of drug possession, fleeing and eluding police and multiple traffic violations through the district court. He was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
