Shots fired at two Rhode Island homes, police seek suspects

Providence, RI, United States (4E) – Police are searching for suspects after gunfire erupted Wednesday night, hitting two homes in Providence, Rhode Island.

According to officials, bullets penetrated through the walls of two multi-apartment along Comstock Street around 6:30 p.m.

One homeowner, Olive Payne, told police that she heard the sound of gunfire and believed three bullets entered the house piercing a couch and the walls.

Her neighbor, Ingris Hernandez, had at least two bullet holes in her house.

No one was injured in the incident.

Five shell casings were recovered nearby and police reportedly found more bullet holes two houses away.

Police are looking for possible suspects and investigation is ongoing.
