Minor Injuries Reported after Snyder Township Accident

SNYDER TOWNSHIP – Minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 219 in Snyder Township, according to the DuBois-based state police.

Amanda B. Best, 29, of DuBois was traveling southbound when her pick-up truck exited the roadway via the west berm. The Best truck entered the parking lot of Apple Tractor at which point Best applied her brakes.  Best wasn’t able to stop her truck, before it struck a utility pole and guide wire.

Best sustained minor injuries in the accident. She had two, juvenile male passengers who were not injured. All three were using the proper safety restraints.

Best was cited for roadways laned for traffic.
