Four injured after helicopter crashed at California naval air station

Coronado, CA, United States (4E) – Four people were hurt after a military helicopter made a hard landing at North Island Naval Air Station in Coronado, California late Wednesday night.

According to a Navy statement, the MH-60R Seahawk was involved in a routine training when it crashed about 11 p.m., injuring four crew members on board.

Officials said the four wounded were brought to the hospital and no details about their injuries were released.

The Navy did not provide any other information about the incident.
