Police Report: Clearfield PSP

• A known 29-year-old Clearfield man was arrested for DUI following a traffic violation at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 322 in Bradford Township. The investigation is continuing at this time.
• An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Monday and 3:20 a.m. Tuesday behind the Sunshine Bar in Coalport Borough. Someone broke the driver’s side, rear window on a 1999 Jeep Cherokee that belonged to a Coalport man. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
• A freightliner struck a tree at 4 a.m. Tuesday in a wooded area across from the intersection of Henderson Street and Atlantic Avenue in Woodward Township. Jon F. Hartman, 55, of Smithmill was traveling north on Henderson Street and started applying his brakes while approaching the intersection. His freightliner slid through the stop sign and continued across Atlantic Avenue. It traveled northward into the woods, where it struck a tree, and came to a final rest on the west berm of Atlantic Avenue. Hartman wasn’t injured in the accident and was wearing his seatbelt. He was cited for the accident.
