Multi-vehicle wreck closes Minnesota highway

Minneapolis, MN, United States (4E) – A multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Minneapolis, Minnesota Wednesday morning has shut down the westbound lanes of the Interstate 94.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation said the accident involving around ten vehicles happened at 6 a.m. on the westbound I-94 at 7th Street, just north of I-394.

Lt. Eric Roeske reported on Twitter that nobody was hurt, however, all westbound lanes of I-94 had to be closed for the responding emergency crews.

Authorities said one lane remained open to traffic and cold temperatures are adding complications to the work being done by the responding crews.
