Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager has confirmed Wednesday that she is expecting first child with husband Henry.
“We’re so excited…we can’t wait,” the 31-year-old mom-to-be told People in an interview.
Jenna debuted her long kept baby bump on the Today show Wednesday, saying, “We’ve been able to keep it a secret—just us, and obviously so sacred for a pretty long time.” He also said, “I’m a first-time mom, but it’s something I’ve always wanted.”
Proud grandparents-to-be former President George W. Bush and Former First Lady Laura Bush couldn’t hide their excitement either, as this baby will be their first ever grandchild.
The former first lady, who is said to have volunteered to decorate the baby’s nursery, said, “We’re both really thrilled. We’ve been looking forward to being grandparents for a long time and we’re very excited about it.”
Jenna’s twin sister, Barbara, also volunteered. “She’s really into how she’s going to help me design the nursery,” Jenna said. Since Jenna and her husband Henry, 34, have planned to wait for the sex of their child, the volunteers “have to settle for neutral colors” for the nursery.
Henry and Jenna have been married for four years and live in Manhattan.
