Charitable Charlie Sheen extends helping hand to young cancer patient
Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Actor Charlie Sheen is being extra-charitable of late as he has extended a generous helping hand Sunday to a young cancer-patient.
The ‘Anger Management’ star has donated $75,000 to Jasmine Faulk, a ten-year-old girl battling alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare kind of cancer.
But Sheen’s generosity seemed to rub off on people around him as well, as his stunt double Eddie Braun has also extended assistance to young Faulk by sending a check worth $25,000 last week.
The Hermosa Beach Police Officers Association, an organization which raises funds to help Faulk beat the big C, has posted a photo of Sheen’s check captioned, “Big news today for the Faulk family. Together, Eddie Braun and Charlie Sheen donated $100,000.00 to the HBPOA in support of Jasmine’s fight against cancer. All proceeds go to the Faulk family to support their daughter. On behalf of the HBPOA, the Faulk family and those who support children fighting cancer, we thank you for your generous donation.”
Meanwhile, last month, Sheen was also reported to have written a $100,000 check for fellow ‘Scary Movie 5′ actress Lindsay Lohan to help her pay her tax dues and penalties.
