Utah gas station ATM taken by thieves

Murray, UT, United States (4E) – Two men who broke into a gas station in Murray, Utah early Sunday morning stole an entire automated teller machine with the use of a truck and a rope.

According to officials, the robbery, which was captured by a surveillance video, happened at a Tesoro Food Mart along S. State Street.

Police said the video showed one man securing a rope to the establishment’s front door, before a truck was used to destroy the door’s hinges.

The man then attached the rope to the ATM located inside and the truck drives off, tugging the ATM before it was loaded into the truck.

Police described one suspect seen in the video as a white male in his mid-to-late 40′s, with brown hair and an average build. He was wearing dark gray bib overalls and a red flannel shirt and dark colored beanie during the burglary.

The suspects were reportedly driving a white Ford F-250.
