Three people sought by Kansas police in attempted robbery

Kansas City, MO, United States (4E) – Authorities have released a surveillance video in hopes of finding three men who tried to rob a fast food restaurant Sunday night in Kansas City, Missouri.
The men went inside a Church’s Chicken along 55th Street and Prospect Avenue around 6:20 p.m. and demanded money from the staff, said police.
One of the suspects, who displayed a .38 revolver, was disarmed by the manager before he fled, followed by the other suspects.
Nobody was harmed during the incident.
The armed man was described by police as 18-27 years old, approximately 5’08″-5’10″ and weighing between 140 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded Carhartt jacket, a black baseball cap and black pants with white designs on the back.
Detectives described the second suspect as 18-27 years old, standing around 5’08″-5’10″, weighing between 160 and 190 pounds and wearing a hooded Carhartt jacket, a brown stocking cap, a striped polo and jeans.
The third suspect appeared to be between 18-27 years old, approximately 5’08″-5’10″, weighing between 140 and 190 pounds, wearing a gray coat with multiple front pockets, black pants, and black and white shoes.
