Madison, WI, United States (4E Sports) – Green Bay Packers’ 78-year-old legendary quarterback Bart Starr immediately recovered from a collapse at the end of a motivational speech.

He was at an economic development conference at Monona Terrace in Madison.

WHEDA Spokesman Kevin Fischer, who was at the speech, says Starr was sitting up and talking coherently with those at his side within minutes after the collapse.

Starr left in a private limo with his wife enroute to the airport.

The 17-year star, inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1977, passed for nearly 25,000 yards in his career with 152 touchdown strikes.

He was a four-time Pro Bowler.
