Residence Damaged by Fire in Ridgway

RIDGWAY – A fire damaged a residence after igniting at approximately 2:36 a.m. Friday at 3199 Grant Road in Ridgway Township, reported the state police at Ridgway.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Ridgway Fire Department investigated the origin and cause of the fire. The fire damaged a single-story, wooden-framed residence that belonged to Colleen T. Kesneck of St. Petersburg, FL.

The fire originated in the wall cavity and spread to the exterior of the residence. The fire was electrical in nature, state police said. 

No one was inside at the time of the fire. There weren’t any injuries reported as a result of the fire. Damage is estimated at approximately $15,000, state police said.
