One Flown after Sandy Township Accident

SANDY TOWNSHIP – A 22-year-old Northern Cambria man was flown after a two-vehicle accident Friday on Sykes Street Extension in Sandy Township. The man was not identified by police.

The man lost control of his vehicle and then crossed the center lane, where he struck a vehicle driven by a 66-year-old Reynoldsville man.  His vehicle continued traveling for approximately 191 feet before coming to rest in a row of trees. 

The Reynoldsville man was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment.
