Inmate found murdered in Massachusetts house of correction

Boston, MA, United States (4E) – An inmate his early 20s was discovered dead Sunday night at the South Bay House of Correction in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department believed the inmate’s death was caused by inmate on inmate violence.

The Boston Homicide Unit is now investigating the case.

South Bay House of Correction is a short-term facility for inmates awaiting trial or prisoners sentenced to two years or less.
