Three dead in bow and arrow attack at Wyoming college
Casper, WY, United States (4E) – Three people died Friday morning after a bow and arrow-type of weapon was used during an assault at Casper College in Casper, Wyoming.
Rich Fujita, a spokesman for the college said, the attack happened before 9 a.m. at the physical science center.
Fujita told NBC News that police described the weapon on campus as a “bow and arrow type.”
According to reports, two of the bodies were discovered on campus. One is possibly a male faculty member while the other is believed to be of “student age.” The third body was found off campus.
The campus declared a temporary lockdown while police search for other suspects and it was lifted around 10 a.m.
The college’s website announced that all classes and activities were canceled and that counselors are available for the colleges faculty, students and staff.
Casper College is a two-year community college of 4,400 students in Wyoming’s second-largest city.
