Police Report: Phillipsburg PSP

  • An incident of theft/criminal mischief occurred sometime between 8 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of North Sixth Street in Phillipsburg Borough. Someone removed a three-foot high concrete owl statue from a 55-year-old Philipsburg woman’s porch. They then smashed it in the street near the intersection of Sixth and Pine streets. The statue was valued at $200. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 814-342-3370.
  • An incident of theft occurred sometime between 1:55 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Drayer Physical Therapy in Philipsburg Borough. Someone removed a 69-year-old Philipsburg woman’s small, beige purse, which contained a burgundy Gucci wallet. Total stolen is estimated at $30. The investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
