Evansville, IN, United States (4E) – A four-vehicle collision that resulted to an injury has caused the Lloyd Expressway near Interstate 164 in Evansville, Indiana to shut down for several hours on Friday afternoon.
Evansville Police Department Sgt. Jason Cullum said a car heading east on the Lloyd Expressway around 1 p.m. had a blown tire moments before it veered into the westbound lanes of the expressway, hitting three other vehicles.
Cullum added a crash victim had to be extricated from a minivan but nobody was seriously injured.
The accident stopped traffic in both directions between Epworth Road and Eagle Crest Boulevard for hours.
