Police Report: Lawrence Township

  • Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred in the Plymptonville area.
  • A safety zone hunting violation was reported to police along the River View Road. The matter was turned over to the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
  • A phone scam was reported to police.
  • A disturbance occurred along the Rockton Mountain Highway and Mount Zion Road. Two students were allegedly being disorderly on the school bus. The issue was handled at the scene.
  • A domestic disturbance occurred between a mother and her teenage son. Police handled the issue at the scene.
  • Police seized several potted marijuana plants. The investigation is ongoing, and charges are currently pending at this time.
  • Police checked the safety and welfare of people at a local business when several calls there had failed. Upon arrival police found that everything was OK; however, the switchboard had malfunctioned and was soon rectified.
  • An incident of harassment by communication was reported to police. The issue was handled at the scene.
  • An incident of retail theft/fuel drive-off occurred at a local establishment. The motorist returned and paid for the fuel.
  • A burglar alarm occurred at a local business, and police found it to be secured.
