New Hampshire police investigate string of storm drain cover thefts

Rochester, NH, United States (4E) – Police are investigating a series of storm drain cover thefts that reportedly happened Tuesday in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Officials said they were informed around 1:30 a.m. that storm drain covers were being taken from city streets and private parking lots along Farmington Road, North Coast Road and several parking lots on Milton Road.

According to witnesses, a white late 1980s to early 1990s model GMC pickup, carrying three men, was seen roaming the area.

Police said an image of the truck was captured on a surveillance camera, and they are asking the residents’ assistance in the investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Officer Justin Livingstone at the Rochester Police Department at 330-7128.

Cash rewards are offered for information that leads to an arrest.
