Missouri man sought for allegedly shooting girlfriend

Grain Valley, MO, United States (4E) – Police in Grain Valley, Missouri are looking for a 37-year-old man suspected of shooting his girlfriend Tuesday night.

According to authorities, police responded to a call about a shooting before 6 p.m. and discovered a woman with a gunshot wound in the face when they arrived on the scene of the crime.

The victim, an employee of the Owner/Operator Independent Drivers Association, was heading to her vehicle after work when a man waiting outside fired at her.

The unidentified woman was brought to the hospital in critical condition.

Authorities are now searching for the victim’s boyfriend, Alan Lovelace Jr., who they believe pulled the trigger.

Lovelace reportedly drove away in the victim’s silver or gold Chevrolet minivan with Missouri license plates MG4-LOB.

He is described as a white male about 5’10″ tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, he wears glasses sometimes. He also has a “lovelace” tattoo on his right back forearm.
