Washington homeowner allegedly shoots at suspected burglar

Everett, WA, United States (4E) – A 62-year-old man from Everett, Washington fired a shot at an alleged intruder early Monday and police said the suspect is still at large.

Officials said the homeowner, who lives along Cedar Street, claimed a burglar entered his detached garage. He went to check and saw a man inside.

After talking to the suspect, he fired his gun but the bullet hit his neighbor’s van and the intruder escaped.

Police used tracking dogs to find the suspect, but they were not able to locate him.

The suspect is a white male, 5-feet, 9-inches tall with a goatee and wearing a green hoodie sweatshirt.
