Uncasville, CT, United States (4E Sports) – Deshaun Thomas scored 31 points and Aaron Craft added 18 as the Ohio State Buckeyes blasted the Washington Huskies, 77-66, Sunday at Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Buckeyes preserved their unblemished record after three games behind another monster game from star forward Deshaun Thomas and sleek point guard Aaron Craft.
Thomas, averaging 22.0 points and 6.5 boards in his third season, shot 12-for-20 from the field and 4-for-5 from the free-throw lead for the Buckeyes, who were never threatened throughout.
Led by the dynamic duo of Thomas and Craft, the Buckeyes took a double-digit lead, 41-31, at the end of the first half and preserved their lead to the final buzzer.
The Huskies cut the deficit to single digits several times but the Buckeyes always responded.
C.J Wilcox scored 18 points and Abdul Gaddy added 15 for Washington, which split their first four games at 2-2.
