One killed, two seriously injured in Maryland head-on crash

Kingsville, MD, United States (4E) – A 26-year-old man has died and two people were critically hurt after a head-on collision between a truck and a car Friday morning in Kingsville, Maryland.

According to Baltimore County Police, the accident happened around 6 a.m. on Philadelphia Road at Bradshaw Road after a pickup crossed the center line and smashed into an approaching car.

William Strayer Jr., the car passenger, was brought to Franklin Square Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The male drivers, both severely injured, were transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by Medivac Helicopter. They are reportedly in stable condition.

The incident is under investigation.

Philadelphia Road, between Pfeffers Road and Bradshaw Road, wasshut down after the accident. It was reopened for traffic before 10 a.m.
