Tyra Hill nets 20 points, Ohio State women down Cincy

Cincinnati, OH, United States (4E Sports) – Tyra Hill scored 20 points while Raven Ferguson and Amber Stokes chipped in with 16 points apiece and the Ohio State Buckeyes cruised past the Cincinnati Lady Bearcats, 87-49, in Wednesday’s women’s basketball action at Value City Arena.
Coming off a 57-51 loss to Notre Dame in the season opener, the 20th ranked Ohio State captured their first win of the season behind an outstanding overall team performance.
The Buckeyes jumped on a 21-11 lead through the first 10 minutes and they never looked back again as they dominated the Bearcats across all major statistical departments, including rebounds (37-27), assists (19-7) and field goal shooting (67.3 pct – 29.7 pct.).
Dayeesha Hollins scored a team-high 15 points for Cincinnati, which suffered its first loss after opening their season with a 49-31 win over Northern Kentucky Norse.
