Police Report: Lawrence Township

  • Several phone scams were reported to police from residents in Goldenrod. The caller stated that their grandchildren were in trouble and needed money sent to the Philippines.
  • A traffic hazard was reported on Proud Road, where a tree had fallen across the roadway.
  • An incident of trespass occurred at a Lawrence Avenue residence.
  • An incident of retail theft occurred and the suspect is known to police. The investigation is continuing.
  • Police are investigating an incident of contraband and possession of marijuana that occurred at the Clearfield County Jail.
  • Police are investigating a second, different incident of contraband and the possession of a controlled substance in the form of pills.
  • Police assisted in the capture of two horses that were running on Turnpike Avenue.
