Phoenix, AAZ, United States (4E Sports) – Goran Dragic scored 26 points and Shannon Brown added 22 off the bench and the Phoenix Suns overcame a sluggish start to squeak past the Cleveland Cavaliers, 107-105, Friday night at US Airways Areana.

The Suns captured their second straight win behind a strong performance in the second half.

After trailing as many as 21 points in the early going, the Suns rallied back with big shots in crunch time to snatch the victory from the up-and-coming Cavs.

Kyrie Irving continued to post strong numbers with 17 points and 8 dimes while his backcourt tandem Dion Waiters exploded for 23 points six games into his rookie season.

Six Cavs players scored in double figure but the visiting team suddenly went cold in the second half and the Suns took advantage.

Despite blowing a big lead, the Cavs still had a slim 102-99 lead with just 2:34 minutes remaining but they just couldn’t knock down key basket at the most crucial point. The Suns closed it out on an 8-3 run to nail the hard-earned win.

With Dragic and Brown leading the way, the Suns outscored the Cavs 27-21 in the third and 31-22 in the second half.

The Suns improved their slate to 3-3 while Cavs dropped to 2-4.
