United States (4E Sports) – UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre may soon collide with middleweight champion Anderson Silva. This was revealed by UFC president Dana White, who did not offer a possible date for the superfight.

He is looking into the Cowboys Stadium as the leading candidate to host the fight.

“If Georges St. Pierre against Anderson Silva were to happen, that’s the fight you could do at Cowboys Stadium,” said UFC president Dana White.

“Understand that this fight between Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre is a pound-for-pound fight. Both of these guys have been No. 1 or No. 2, either way you want to call them,” White noted.

Other venue options are the Rogers Centre in Toronto and a soccer stadium in Brazil. A roadblock to the potential superfight is St. Pierre’s defense against Carlos Condit on November 17.

Silva will be at ringside at Bell Centre in Montreal to cheer for St. Pierre.

But the latter may be rusty from an 18-month layoff, keeping White from elaborating about a showdown with Silva.
