Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

  • An incident of harassment occurred at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Berndt’s Tobacco Outlet in Philipsburg Borough. A 30-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly attempted to have a conversation with a 23-year-old Philipsburg woman. She told the man to leave the business at which point it escalated into a physical altercation. The man was charged for harassment through the district court.
  • An incident of theft by unlawful taking or disposition occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Oct. 28 and 7 a.m. Oct. 30 in the parking area of Spotts Road in Union Township. Someone entered a Holland utility trailer and removed a Dala bow, a recurve with a case, one stringer and three tabs from a black bag. The total value of the stolen items is $1,139. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
  • An incident of burglary/theft by unlawful taking occurred sometime between Oct. 26 and Nov. 4 on Harlem Road in Rush Township. Someone removed two propane tanks and a sleeping bag; the incident remains under investigation at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
