One killed, three detained in Oklahoma shooting

Oklahoma City, OK, United States (4E) – A man died Thursday afternoon after gun fire erupted during a confrontation with a group of people in southwest Oklahoma City.

According to Police Lt. Jason Samuel, the shooting was reported around 5 p.m. along Southwest 58 and responding officers discovered the unidentified victim dead on the scene.

Three people are being held for questioning.

Officials said witnesses told them that after they heard a woman screaming and saw the man lying on the ground, they found several people quickly running away from the area.

It was reported that one man admitted to being the shooter.

Samuel said the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, however, police are not searching for additional suspects.
