CLEARFIELD – The New Main Won has received the Golden Broom Award for the month of October.

The Golden Broom Award is a peer-to-peer program initiated by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp., (CRC) to promote storefront and sidewalk cleanliness and appearance.

The broom has been passed by Genia’s Hairstyling, who won the award previously in September.

“I passed the broom to New Main Won because they have done a wonderful job in the renovations of their new restaurant,” said Genia Tkacik of Genia’s Hairstyling.

This past summer, the New Main Won relocated to 34 N. Second St., beside Jim’s Sports Center and completely renovated the facade of the new property.

“We are happy to be recognized and to pass the broom next month,” said Owner Joe Zhu of the New Main Won.
