Obituary Notice: Edwin J. Wright

Edwin J. Wright, 78, of Clearfield died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield. He was born March 19, 1934 in Meadville, a son of the late Carl and Dorothy (Williams) Wright.
Mr. Wright was employed by the Clearfield Machine Shop for 12 years.
He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. Serving during the Korean War, Mr. Wright was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Guy) Wright, whom he wed July 8, 1978 in Clearfield; three step-sons, Mark Caruso of Clearfield, Dean Caruso of Beallsville, OH and Rick Caruso and his wife, Tonya of Treasure Lake; and a step-granddaughter, Nicole Bianca Caruso.
In accordance of Mr. Wright’s wishes, there will be no public services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Heart
Association, 501 Howard Ave., Suite D, Altoona, PA 16601 or to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, 420 E. North Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
