Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Four people have been shot and injured during a Halloween party Wednesday on the University of Southern California campus and two suspects were taken in custody.

According to USC Department of Public Safety Captain David Carlisle, the shooting occurred around 11:45 p.m. in front of the Ronald Tutor Campus Center, where about 100 people assembled for a party hosted by a student organization.

It started with altercation between two men, one of whom pulled out a gun and fired, hitting another person.

One victim was critically wounded, while three others have been brought to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officials said the injured are not affiliated with the campus.
