Former Scary Spice Mel B granted restraining order against photographer

Sydney, Australia (4E) – Former Scary Spice Mel B has been granted restraining order Thursday against a photographer who has allegedly threatened her and put her life in danger.

The X Factor Australia judge claimed that Aussie photographer Jamie Fawcett endangered her life while kayaking with husband Stephen Balfonte at the Sydney Harbour last week, which led the star to apply for an Apprehended Violence Order against Fawcett.

Magistrate Jacqueline Milledge granted the application, to which Fawcett agreed. Fawcett is not allowed to ‘loiter’ within 50 meters from the couple, and should stay beyond 5 meters from them. Any form of contact is also not allowed.

The AVO takes effect until the case is scheduled to return to court on November 22.
