Clearfield and Curwensville Volleyball Teams Eliminated from D9 Playoffs

Both the Clearfield and Curwensville High School volleyball teams saw their seasons come to an end on Wednesday night in the District 9 playoffs.
Clearfield, the number three seed, was swept by the number two seed Punxsutawney Lady Chucks 25-12, 25-11, 25-19. Punxsutawny will now face the number one seed Bradford Owls for the District 9 AA title. The Lady Bison ended their season with a 10-11 record.
The number 15 seeded Lady Tide faced off with the number two seed A-C Valley and was swept as well. The scores were 25-9, 25-13, 25-17. A-C Valley will play the number seven seed Kane in the A quarterfinals. The Lady Tide ended their season with a 6-12 record.
