No Injuries Reported after Single-vehicle Accident in Decatur Township

DECATUR TOWNSHIP – No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 3:50 a.m. Sunday on Sanborn Street in Decatur Township, according to the Clearfield-based state police.

Megan R. Troxell, 22, of Curwensville was traveling eastbound when a deer entered the roadway directly in the path of her vehicle. She swerved to avoid impacting the deer, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle. Her vehicle traveled across the westbound lane, the left berm and into a wooded area along the roadway, There, it impacted a tree.

Troxell was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. She wasn’t injured. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
