Magic waive Quentin Richardson, complete final roster
Orlando, FL, United States (4E Sports) – The Orlando Magic completed their 15-man roster for the 2012-2013 season Sunday after cutting Chris Johnson, Justin Harper, and veteran Quentin Richardson.
The Magic are all set to officially start the post-Dwight Howard era, presenting a roster consists mostly of young players.
Jameer Nelson, Glen Davis, J.J Reddick, Hedo Turkoglu, and Ish Smith were the only players from last season that remain with the team.
The Magic will feature up-and-coming players such as Aaron Afflalo, Gustavo Ayon, Al Harrington, Josh McRoberts, E’Twaun Moore, Andrew Nicholson, Kyle O’Quinn, Nikola Vucevic, and Maurice Harkless.
Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn also selected undrafted rookie DeQuan Jones, whose off-the-chart athleticism makes him a solid defender at the wing.
