Vancouver, BC, Canada (4E Sports) – Kevin Glenn completed 10 of 17 passes for 173 yards with one touchdown and wide receiver Maurice Price covered 104 yards on four receptions as the Calgary Stampeders obliterated the BC Lions, 41-21, Friday at BC Place.
The Stampeders entered the game with their playoff fate already booked as the Western semifinal host. Nevertheless, the game was an opportunity for Calgary to show off its firepower against their potential Western finals opponent.
Coming off a gutty 34-32 win against Hamilton, the Stampeders came up with a rousing start with 34 unanswered points.
BC Lions quarterback Mike Reilly threw two touchdowns but the Stampeders kept on coming as backup signal-callers Drew Tate and Bo Levi Mitchell contributed two more TD passes for Calgary.
The Stampeders improved their season slate to 11-6 while the Lions already locked up the first-seed in the West Division with a 12-5 record.
