Taylor Swift, Connor Kennedy part ways

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Singer Taylor Swift has called it quits with beau Connor Kennedy, after only a few months of dating.

A friend of the country music star told US Weekly, “They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine.”

Swift, 22, and Kennedy, 18, were first seen in public together in July. It is suspected that the reason for the breakup is Swift’s working schedule and responsibilities. She has just released her album, Red, which is doing well in the market and among critics.

“It’s been over a month since they’ve even seen each other,” the friend continues. “With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year.”

Meanwhile, despite the split, TMZ reports that Swift is still pushing through with the purchase of a mansion close to the Kennedy’s estate in Massachusetts. She reportedly bought the house a few months ago so she can be closer to her now ex boyfriend. The $4.5 million deal is expected to close in two seeks.
