Police Report: Lawrence Township

• Police are investigating the theft of scrap metals from Novey’s. The suspect is known by police and charges are currently pending.
• Police are investigating suspicious activity, including trespassing and trespassing with a motor vehicle that occurred in the Wolf Run area.
• Police are investigation an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Plaza Drive, where suspects spray-painted on a retail establishment.
• Police are investigating several alleged incidences of retail theft that occurred at a local store. They have a person of interest and the investigation is continuing at this time.
• Police followed up into the alleged theft of tools from a local establishment.
• Police and a St. Marys Police K-9 Unit conducted a sweep of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center, as part of its efforts to maintain a drug-free environment. No illegal drugs were discovered during the sweep.
• A traffic hazard was reported at the Clearfield Area High School. Construction equipment was obstructing the crosswalk. Police officials are going to contact the school about the equipment being parked in a different location during dismissal.
