Motorist Hits Fence Post, Telephone Pole in Single-vehicle Accident

UNION TOWNSHIP – A single-vehicle accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on Home Camp Road in Union Township, according to the DuBois-based state police.
Chipego Digilarmo, 23, of DuBois was traveling eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle after becoming distracted. Her vehicle crossed the roadway and exited the north berm, where it struck a fence post. Afterward it traveled a short distance before impacting a telephone pole.
The Digilarmo vehicle sustained light damage. The telephone wasn’t damaged as a result of the accident. No further information was provided in the state police report.
