Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

• An incident of harassment occurred at 6:20 p.m. Sunday in the area of Pine and 13^th streets in Philipsburg Borough. An argument occurred between a 36-year-old Philipsburg woman and a 17-year-old Philipsburg girl. The girl allegedly verbally threatened and made physical contact with the woman. The girl will be cited for harassment through the district court.
• Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 2 p.m. Friday on Centre Street in Philipsburg Borough. A vehicle operated by Peggy J. Fontana, 64, of Tyrone was struck in the rear bumper by another operated by Danielle L. Harmon, 24, of Philipsburg. The Fontana vehicle was stopped at a traffic light and Harmon was distracted due to sending a text message. Harmon subsequently rear-ended the Fontana vehicle. Both Fontana and Harmon were wearing their seatbelts. Both sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. The Harmon vehicle sustained disabling front-end damage and was towed from the scene. The Fontana vehicle sustained minor, rear damage and was also towed from the scene.
