Clearfield JV Football Team Loses to DuBois

DUBOIS — After Bald Eagle Area cancelled their trip to Clearfield to face the Bison, the Bison headed to DuBois for a recently scheduled game instead.

There, the DuBois Beavers ran up a 42-7 halftime score and coasted the rest of the way to a 42-19 victory over the visiting Bison. The loss droped Clearfield to 5-3 on the season, with one game remaining. The Brockway Rovers will travel to the Bison Sports Complex Monday October 29 for the JV season-ender.

Scoring for Clearfield was Mike Beck on a 2-yard run, Jake Wingate on a 6-yard pass from Sawyer Rowles, and Eric Sellers on a 1-yard TD plunge. Josh Sorbera added the point after on Beck’s TD to set the halftime score.
